I hate buying a computer with pre-installed software not giving me a choice of what to put on my computer.

I could upgrade where I buy the computer but by the time I've decided on the computer that I want, I'm ready to run screaming from the store.

Also, I just want my computer when I buy it. I hate waiting on things. You should see me at traffic lights.

So what is the best software out there for our computers? I guess it depends on what you're looking at on the web or if you're on a wireless network that is password protected. With the advance of technology, does it matter if it's password protected?

Is it worth the money to upgrade to get the "accessories" that are included? I usually don't upgrade on annual renewals.

We at Pro Gear Review are looking for those IT 100 pound brains that really know this stuff. If you are one, please pass on some of your knowledge to those of less fortunate.

I've started out with Norton. It came on my computer and my wife's company uses it on all their systems.
